About
designbid is a public board for designers, studios, and agencies. The rule is simple: visibility follows the bid, and the board updates when someone pays more.
Why it exists
Portfolios are usually discovered through feeds, algorithms, or someone else's taste. This is the opposite: a tiny, transparent market where placement is obvious, public, and easy to challenge.
The center leaderboard is for individual portfolios. The agency page and side rails are for studios that want to be seen across the site. Nothing is permanent; every position can be outbid.
It's open source
The whole thing is on GitHub under the MIT license — the payment flow, the ranking logic, the database migrations, all of it. Read it, fork it, run your own, or open a pull request. If you want to know exactly how the board decides who is on top, the answer is in the code rather than in a promise.
